Analyzed empirical data from testing of filtering systems in various countries. Led drafting and editing of reports on Internet filtering in Bahrain, Burma, China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, and Yemen as a member of the OpenNet Initiative.
- Researched and helped draft paper on the legal implications of Internet filtering by states and private actors.
- Researched and drafted report on Internet filtering in Vietnam, including analysis of Internet and media regulation, telecommunications infrastructure, and political system.
